It works a little better with the PS4 controller, with the Xbox controller I even had to unpair more often before it wanted to play again. The only problem right now – and it’s not a small one – is that the controllers don’t remember the box and don’t really want the automatic pairing.

Just go to the Bluetooth menu, connect the device, pair the controller, done. Instead of throwing a proprietary Apple controller into the mix, Apple TV can use Bluetooth and both Xbox and PS4 controllers can be easily connected. At this point, I’m really amazed that Apple doesn’t rely on its own hardware. Controller required, so back to the main menu.

Apple has a new game console, but they don’t tell anyone directly. But there is a catch behind it, the junk from the 90s, which was already junk in the 90s, doesn’t have to worry anymore. Not hyped at the time, ignored, unknown today and whoever bought one a few years ago for 30 euros on eBay has an increase in value that you otherwise get at Tesla and Bitcoin. Apple’s Pippin is one of those legends in console history.
